Entry fee

$20 per child. Entry can be prepaid or paid at the event.

Who can ride

Ages 4-6 only. Must weigh under 50 pounds and be comfortable in the arena with supervision.

How you'll pay

Prepay by card or pay cash at the event. If you prepay, a payment link will be emailed to you.

When to arrive

Mutton Busting runs 6:30 PM – 7 PM each night. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

Before They Ride

A parent or guardian must sign a waiver at check-in before the event.

Limited spots

Don't wait to register. Only 20 spots available Friday and 15 spots Saturday.

Mutton Busting is a youth rodeo event where young riders hold on to a sheep and ride for as long as they can. It’s a safe, supervised way for kids to step into the arena and be part of the action.
Hoosier Cowboy Association is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to honoring and supporting local veterans and first responders through rodeo, tradition, and meaningful action.
